Hands down my favorite place to eat slopeside and in all of Steamboat. Laid back dive bar atmosphere, playing some great throwback tunes. The food is what puts this place over the top though. Gourmet options on the slopes and isn't outrageously priced.... Some favorites... Peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich, chorizo Mac and cheese, pulled pork tacos and warm Brie and toast point plate.

By far the best lunch in Steamboat. The "Elvis" (Peanut Butter, Banana and Bacon Panini) was amazing!

Great little slope side dive bar, and with better food than you'd expect from just skiing by. The entertainment selection here are a couple TVs, shuffleboard, and a game called hammerschlagen that consists of getting drunk while pounding nails into a massive log stump. Like any good drinking game, the only real point of the game is to drink, and at that it succeeds admirably. The beer selection is decent, and reasonably priced, but it does't seem like the sort of place that has an extensive wine or cocktail list, so for those you may want to stick to Slopeside Grill. The best thing about this place to me is that the food is not only better than you'd expect based on the look of the place, and in fact is legitimately really good and reasonably priced. The pho wasn't what you'd get in a straight-up vietnamese joint, but it was quote good, and the chorizo mac and cheese is excellent. Overall a great place to get some beers and grub after a day of skiing!

I'm a fan of the T bar. Cool spot just on the mountain with a dive bar feel and great selections for eats. I would have to say this was by far my favorite place along the slopes and it was just a perfect atmosphere for drinks after laying it down on the slopes. They have a number of gluten free options for the choosing and even have gluten free bread for sandwiches. Soups are pretty good to warm the body out in the cold. I'd recommend sitting outside so you can watch the activity on the mountain and have a little extra space. The inside in all of its dive-ness seems more suitable to drinks than food, but I'll do anything when it is too cold. They have a pretty full bar, lots of beer on tap, warm drinks, and cider. I didn't see any kids roaming around this joint, so I'm not sure whether to bring the little ones or not.

Authentic, slopeside hangout. Great food, local vibe, friendly group. Yella on tap. Be in the bar when the bell rings (for a free shot!)

The best 5 Star Dive Bar in Steamboat Springs. The coworkers and owner were super friendly. The music on Soul Sundays made us want to get up and boogie. We got crawfish Mac-N-Cheese and the buffalo chicken Panini. The crawfish is fresh from Lake Dillon and cooked perfectly, the spices were an amazing compliment to the cheese and crawfish. The buffalo chicken Pannini was like nothing we'd ever had before. This was buffalo pulled chicken with bacon, celery, carrots, tomato, sauce on the sandwich as well as dipping sauce.

Great food and great deals, but service leaves something to be desired. Two weeks ago, my wife and I came by to grab a drink after skiing. Grabbed a table and overheard the waitress and cook talking about us grabbing a table that should go to locals. Ummm...we live here. Decided to give it a second chance today. Came up to the outside counter about 3:30 on our way off the mountain. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, when we got to the bar, the bartender asked us to come inside because they were going to close the outside counter. I asked him if we could order first and come inside to get it as we had been waiting for some time and inside was packed. He looked at me like my request was crazy and walked away. Have never been treated like this at Slopeside. Will not go back to T-Bar.

Great local dining option if you are on the mountain and need lunch or apre-ski. Very unpretentious and genuine, with great local food and beer. We ordered the pork belly BLT and the potato soup, as well as the chicken cheese-steak sandwich and both TOTALLY hit the spot after a morning of riding the mountain. Location is along Right O' Way, right before you hit Gondola Square. Check it out.

Usually when we go here you have to wait 10-15 minutes just to get a beer, but with limited options on the mountain there's not much you can do. Last time we went here it took 30 minutes to order 2 pitchers of beer. They only had 2 people working the bar and it looked like it was day 1 for one of the bartenders. He didn't know how to work the computer and I've never seen a bartender take 5 minutes to pour 2 mixed drinks. The couple in front of us finally gave up and left. We asked for a water because the water cooler was empty and the bartender had to yell at some guy who looked like he was passed out with his head on the bar to fill it back up. If they could hire a few more people especially when it's busy, this place would be great. Unfortunately, they still haven't figured out how to run a bar/restaurant over the last 3 seasons.

By far my favorite place to hang out when hitting the slopes in Steamboat. The T Bar crew is friendly, knowledgable, and never makes you feel unwelcome. The food is great, the beer/drinks are awesome, and the staff is even better! I'll definitely be back, hopefully for next years quaffing tourney!

This has been a great place for 3+ years, but it's no longer 'by locals, for locals.' The food/service remains absolutely first rate but it's gotten a corporate nickle & dime mentality. The beer pour is much smaller than a pint but the cost the same; suddenly it's $0.75 more for a pickle with your panini when that was included last year. Makes one wonder what else has slid toward mediocrity. Now in the same league as Slopeside when it use to be far superior in food and vibe.

This is almost a slopeside hidden gem (at least for a first timer). Ski right up and ditch some layers and grab a pitcher of brew for your crew. Great specials and quality food with a particular attention to the details. Atmosphere to get toasty before you return to the slopes with sweet reggae tunes playing.

Hands down the best place at the mountain base for funk, suds, shots and great tasting food. The phaux noodle bowl, chicken pot pie, wings, flat bread, desserts and Tres' mouth watering soups are to die for. One had better be prepared for some loud music when it is rockin' reggae. This is not a bistro for a quiet sit down gourment meal nor a trendy wine bar to sip some fine cab. That is better left for Diva, Bella, Bistro CV or Beaver Creek.

This place is absolutely under rated!! You wouldn't imagine the caliber of food that comes out of that kitchen based on what the place looks like. We discovered this place unfortunately on our last day in Steamboat. I wish we had known, we would not waste our appetites on mediocre bar food at places like Tug Boat. We ordered the Pork Belly Banh mi, one the most delicious things ive put in my mouth and the pork carnitas taco that was yummy. We were chatting with the chef and as it turns out, they make EVERYTHING except for the bread on premise. Were checking out today so were going to skip breakfast so we can go back and sample some more goodness. FYI they only serve food from 11am to 5pm.

Pretty cool bar off to the side of the main base area. Catch it on your ski down. It's usually super packed in the afternoon, so you'll probably have to stand. I had fun talking to people and drinking, but it took too long to get a beer right at the bar, and I don't know, the staff wasn't super friendly. Average at best.

This bar is awesome! We were in Steamboat last weekend with 50 degree temps and bluebird skies. The outside party at the T Bar was so much fun, great music, nail in the stump game with mandatory shots for everyone who isn't the worst, great food made by owner/chef who is a local and lots of friendly folks hangin out. Highly recommended if you're at the Boat and want a cool local business to hang out at.

Lots of wine to choose from plus other drink options. I love a nice little wine bar. It was clean, cozy and classy. Our 'tender was super sweet, our wine was something we'd never had before and the prices were pretty decent. I even came back to buy a bottle of Caymus (ahem, $$$) for our host in Steamboat and probably overpaid - but that was OK - his hospitality was priceless.

Amazing food. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! I loved the prosciutto-lingonberry flatbread and the rosti. Funky atmosphere and gourmet bites delightfully sit in juxtaposition at this place!

I wondered why other places were busy and there was only one other group here. We soon found out with an app that felt twice baked and wine that had been open too long. Back to Diva or the St. Cloud Club next time for wine. St. Cloud is private by day and public at night, no crowded but great food and drinks when you want something light or the other places are busy.

Great local spot but friendly to tourists. They offer a great beer selection with something from everyone. If your looking for resort atmosphere or a resort experience keep skiing to slopeside.
